Take some time out from the busyness of everyday life at our Sunshine Coast Easter Retreat with guest Yogi - Swami Jasraj.

This is an opportunity for you to spend a few nourishing days connecting with your breath, your body, your mind and the present moment, away from the usual distractions of life.

The retreat is located amidst the great National Parks on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland at the wonderful Kondalilla Eco Resort in Montville on the Sunshine Coast.

TEACHERS

The retreat will feature special guest yogi Mahamandaleshwar Swami Jasraj Puri. Swami Jasraj is an Aussie guy who spent 20 years living at the Yoga in Daily Life ashram in Rajasthan and also time studying and practicing in the Himalayas. Currently he is teaching at Yoga in Daily Life Brisbane. 

Swami Jasraj is a highly respected and inspiring yogi whose immersion in the authentic yogic practices and life in India has contributed to his deep insight and experiences. With his western background we have the unique opportunity to learn from someone who can offer us these valuable ancient teachings in a modern and relevant context in a clear, down to earth manner. This is a very special opportunity for you. 

There will also be a team of Senior Sunshine Coast Yoga in Daily Life teachers at the retreat sharing their many years of experience with you.

The retreat program includes:

·         Daily yoga classes suitable for all levels

·         Meditation & pranayama & Healthy Life style workshops

·         Yoga nidra (deep relaxation)

·         Delicious vegetarian meals - lunch & dinner prepared in the Resort kitchen

·         Optional forest walks and waterhole swims

.         Evening programs with music & Yoga philosophy

·         Free time

Sample Daily Program

·         6.00am – Guided meditation

·         6.30am – Yoga class

·         8.00am – Breakfast in your accomodation & free time

·         10am – Meditation & Pranayama Workshop with Swami Jasraj

·         12.30pm – Lunch

·         Free time (optional bushwalk / waterhole swim)

·         3.30pm –  Yoga Nidra (long guided relaxation)

·         4.15pm – Yoga class

·         6.15pm – Dinner

·         7.30pm – Satsang, Kirtan & Yoga Philosophy

VENUE

The retreat is only one and half hours drive north of Brisbane, nestled amongst 20 acres of abundant Sunshine Coast Hinterland rainforest. This authentic haven from city life allows you time to experience and reconnect with nature.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

The retreat will begin with arrival on Friday from 11 am. Then a gentle afternoon yoga class, followed by dinner and evening Satsang. The retreat will conclude with the morning yoga class, breakfast & final workshop on Monday.

There is an option of joining a cooking course & lunch about 10 minutes drive from the venue. Please indicate your interest (cost $30)
